Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.

Job Type:

This is a temporary position, with the option to become permanent in the future.

£95 - £105 Per day

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special educational needs in a classroom setting.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans for students.
  • Help students with academic tasks and provide guidance on study skills.
  • Support students with personal care needs if required.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behavior.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • First Aid certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting.
  • Full-time hours with regular school term breaks.
  • Potential for assisting students with personal care needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
