Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Protocol Education. As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with learning difficulties or disabilities in a classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support to students with special needs, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Assist teachers in implementing individual education plans and monitoring student progress.
  • Help students with academic tasks, provide guidance on study skills, and support personal care needs if required.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths.
  • Experience working with individuals with special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.
  • First Aid certification.
Working Conditions:
  • Work primarily in a classroom setting.
  • Full-time hours with regular school term breaks.
  • Potential for assisting students with personal care needs.
