Procurement Foundry is seeking a Director of Supply Chain Operations (SCO) for Demand Fulfillment, Distribution, and Logistics across Europe. This role offers the flexibility of remote work within Europe, with occasional travel requirements.

Reporting to the Executive Director of Demand Fulfillment, Distribution, and Logistics for the EMEA region, the Director will manage the in-market Supply Chain operations for Procurement Foundry in Europe, covering multiple countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing Supply Chain Management strategies and translating them into actionable plans.
  • Overseeing the Supply Chain budget, costs, and performance metrics for the European region.
  • Representing Supply Chain Management in various Commercial Leadership teams.
  • Managing demand, conducting local and regional demand reviews, and supporting Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP).
  • Handling order management and fulfillment for the entire region, including supply chain operations outside the region.
  • Overseeing logistics operations and transportation, including third-party logistics providers, customs brokers, and freight forwarding.
  • Managing import and export operations and ensuring trade compliance within the region.
  • Conducting performance and cost analytics to optimize service and performance ratios.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives across all operations.

This role also involves executing strategic projects related to the aforementioned activities and directly overseeing the implementation of Supply Chain Management strategies while supporting commercial and financial objectives within the region. The position serves as a key liaison to the Regional President of Commercial Teams and Country Managing Directors, supervising several Supply Chain Management leads.

The Director of Supply Chain Operations for Europe will provide functional leadership and direction to team members, ensuring quality and compliant supply chain operations while continuously seeking operational efficiencies and cost-effective solutions through innovative practices.

As Procurement Foundry evolves, this position will play a crucial role in ensuring that service levels and targets are maintained during the transition and redesign of processes to align with the new strategic goals of the organization.

Required Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience managing complex supply chains.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated success in relationship management with commercial organizations; experience in sales and strategy is essential.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams and implementing employee satisfaction improvement plans.
  • In-depth understanding of regional supply chain environments, including market distribution and warehouse operations with third-party partners.
  • Experience in transformation initiatives and a proven track record of continuous improvement.
  • Successful management of budgets and driving operational efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage relationships at all levels.
  • Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change.
