Role Overview
The Technical Specialist position within our Paper and Packaging Technical division is a multifaceted role that provides essential technical assistance to our team, clients, and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical aspects of the New Product Introduction process, overseeing projects from initial laboratory development to machine trials, including collaboration with suppliers and validation efforts.
- Manage daily laboratory operations to ensure exceptional service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders, including liaising with external testing facilities.
- Offer operational support to the Paper division, focusing on mill chemistry, troubleshooting, and maintaining compliance documentation.
- Conduct technical investigations and compile detailed reports to support R&D and address process-related challenges.
Qualifications for Success
- A Bachelor's degree or HND in a scientific field, complemented by A Levels in Chemistry and Maths (or equivalent).
- Experience in a laboratory or operational setting is essential.
- A self-driven individual with strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of adapting within a collaborative team environment.
