About the Role

ZipRecruiter is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our client's team in Edinburgh. As an Electrical Supervisor, you will play a key role in overseeing the day-to-day electrical installations on commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct site inductions and issue permits to ensure a safe working environment
  2. Lead teams of electricians to deliver high-quality electrical installations
  3. Implement and manage health and safety procedures to minimize risks
  4. Report progress and liaise with the main contractor to ensure project milestones are met
  5. Attend site meetings and conduct toolbox talks to promote a culture of safety and quality
  6. Oversee all paperwork and ensure a smooth handover of projects

Requirements

The successful Electrical Supervisor will have:

  1. Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor on-site
  2. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and installation methods
  3. Ability to plan and prioritize workloads to meet project deadlines
  4. Commercial experience with a strong understanding of electrical contracting
  5. Full UK driving license to facilitate site visits

What We Offer
