This exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated Charge Nurse to join our team at University University Hospital Crosshouse. As a key member of our Mental Health Unscheduled Care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert nursing care to patients with mental health conditions, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans, ensuring patient-centered approaches and evidence-based practice.
  • Contribute to the development of our Mental Health and Addiction Liaison and Emergency Services Pathway teams, driving innovation and excellence in patient care.
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care, promoting a culture of collaboration and respect.

Requirements:

  • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification and current registration with the NMC.
  • Experience working in mental health services, particularly with acute mental health presentations.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, with a strong focus on patient-centered care and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
