Job Summary:
Swi-tch is seeking an experienced Operational Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of new process launches across People, Systems, and Facility Readiness workstreams for medium to large-scale projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage project tools (scheduling, ramp-up plans, hiring/training trackers, KPIs) to ensure seamless project execution.
- Assign tasks and manage internal/external teams to achieve project goals.
- Minimise project risk through contingency planning and mitigation to ensure project success.
- Lead project review meetings, ensuring progress and addressing issues to keep stakeholders informed.
- Communicate project status to stakeholders, steering committees, and clients to maintain transparency.
- Collaborate with process owners and leadership to align customer requirements and ensure project deliverables meet expectations.
- Support facility go-lives, conversions, and retrofits to ensure operational readiness and minimize downtime.
- Lead readiness checks and workshops, managing risk and tracking key milestones to ensure project completion.
- Own project delivery, meeting deadlines and budgets, and reporting performance to stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in complex facility startups.
- Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Warehouse operations management experience, with proven examples of multiple go-live leadership.
- PMP certification a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and SharePoint.
