Key Responsibilities

  • The Grid Engineering team is tasked with developing grid connection solutions for solar, wind, and battery storage initiatives, guiding projects from initial concept through to execution across Europe.
  • Engage in the development and implementation of renewable energy projects at all phases, with a focus on grid connections and substation considerations.
  • Conduct engineering evaluations to establish technical specifications, design documentation, overall project scope for contracting, and CAPEX assessments.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of UK engineering standards, regulations, and legislation pertaining to electrical systems and grid operations.
  • Collaborate with Distribution Network Operators (DNOs) and Transmission Network Operators (TNOs) to secure and advance grid connections.
  • Define and manage external engineering services and the scope of technical contracts.
