About the Role

The New Zealand Defence Force is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team. As a Medical Officer, you will play a critical role in providing healthcare services to our personnel, both in New Zealand and overseas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary healthcare services to Defence personnel, including emergency medical care, diagnosis, and treatment of illnesses and injuries.
  • Work in a variety of settings, including camps, bases, and overseas deployments.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the provision of high-quality healthcare services.
  • Develop and implement healthcare programs and policies to promote the health and well-being of Defence personnel.
Requirements
  • Be a qualified medical professional with a strong background in primary healthcare.
  • Have experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Be able to work effectively in a team and communicate complex information to others.
  • Hold a current driver's license and be willing to travel.
