We are seeking a talented and ambitious Structural Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. As a key member of our Structures team, you will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of projects, from new retail developments to major refurbishments and repurposing of residential and commercial properties.

As a Structural Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing calculations and specifications, conducting technical reviews of drawings and junior members' designs, and preparing tender and contract documents.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Producing calculations and specifications
  • Conducting technical reviews of drawings and junior members' designs
  • Preparing tender and contract documents
  • Attending coordination, design team, and site meetings
  • Finite Element Analysis
  • Knowledge of software including Robot, Masterseries, Etabs, Tedds, CSC Fastrac Building Designer

We are looking for someone with a relevant civil or structural engineering degree, and experience in production of calculations and specifications, technical reviews of drawings, and preparation of tender and contract documents.
