  • Conduct regular inventory assessments and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods while enforcing inventory management protocols, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to maintain optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization within the department, ensuring compliance with all food safety and health regulations.

Qualifications: A valid food hygiene certificate is essential for this role, along with a solid understanding of food safety systems and current allergen legislation. Proficiency in computer systems, including Pecos and Microsoft applications, is advantageous. This role involves hands-on responsibilities, including manual handling and freezer operations.

Work Schedule: The position requires a commitment of 5 days per week, primarily Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts to ensure service continuity and cover for annual leave. Flexibility in working hours between 6:00 AM and 7:30 PM is crucial.

Benefits: We provide enhanced pay rates for weekend shifts and a generous annual leave package of 27 days, increasing to 33 days, inclusive of public holidays. Employees have access to the NHS pension scheme and various health service benefits and discounts.
