About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Estimator to join our team at WEC Group Ltd. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for generating detailed quotations, managing projects, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate precise manufacturing cost estimates from customer drawings
  • Monitor delivery lead times and coordinate sub-contract support
  • Develop comprehensive labor and material costing, creating full routing information
  • Engage with sub-contract suppliers as needed
  • Input all data into the system to produce full quotations for the sales department
  • Monitor enquiries, engage directly with customers and end users, and resolve queries
  • Work closely with internal departments to expedite progress

Requirements

  • Time-served/shop floor experience in fabrication and/or multi-disciplined engineering
  • Ability to have technical discussions and sell WEC's capabilities
  • Understanding of RFQs and technical drawings, providing practical design guidance
  • Experience in sales, business development, and account management
  • Leadership potential to manage and grow a team of estimators
  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and complete complex quotations accurately
