We provide expert palliative and end-of-life care in the hospice and the community, supporting patients and their families with everything from pain and symptom management to emotional and practical help.

Main Responsibilities

As a Nursing Assistant, you will:

  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with individuals and their families
  • Carry out essential duties within your scope as agreed in the care plan
  • Work to ensure the standard of infection prevention and control are followed at all times

Person Specification

We are looking for dedicated Nursing Assistants with sound clinical skills who are keen to make a real difference. To join us, you will need:

  • An NVQ and/or QCF Level 2 qualification (or the willingness to gain this)
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, the internet and email
  • Strong communication skills and an empathetic approach
