Fluid System Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Fluid System Engineer to join our team at KURY UK Ltd. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for performing complex engineering analysis, including thermal-hydraulic calculations and fluid mechanics, to produce high-quality system documentation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform engineering analysis, including supporting calculations, to produce system documentation for mechanical and thermo-hydraulic design, electrical, operator instructions, human-machine interface, safety and environmental, control logic design, and periodic testing.
- Develop and maintain system documentation, including writing of Instrumentation and Control Functional Requirements, Detailed Functional Diagrams, Functional Test Procedure specifications, and I&C logic descriptions.
- Conduct thermal-hydraulic calculations and modeling using in-house or commercial tools, and ensure the 3D model is consistent with the intended system design.
- Formulate equipment specifications and provide data in respective databases or datasheets, and support the procurement team in formulating technical specifications for contract documentation.
- Analyze and verify input data, requirements, and lessons learned from other stations, and contribute to topics around good practices, innovation, and quality improvement.
- Manage requests for modifications to systems issued by external parties, and develop technical solutions to resolve technical issues.
- Relevant experience in the nuclear industry, in an operating plant or on an industrial site.
- Knowledge of process design, nuclear system design, thermal-hydraulic calculation and modeling, fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics.
- Ability to effectively manage own workload to produce high-quality documents and respect deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and accurately both written and orally.
- French-speaking and reading would be an advantage.
