Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Mitchell Maguire. The successful candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing a range of pitched roofing projects for residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:- Review project specifications and drawings to determine the scope of work
- Producing accurate and detailed quotations to clients
- Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process, identify cost-saving opportunities and recommended values
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors
- Attending pre-contract meetings and progress meetings with clients as required
- Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estimating and quantity surveying, with experience in the roofing industry. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organisational skills.
