Job Title: Learning Support Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join our team at a Further Education College based near Warrington. The successful candidate will provide learning support to students with learning difficulties and disabilities, those with special educational needs, and those in receipt of High Needs Funding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in practical lessons such as Animal Care, Horticulture, and Agriculture
  • Work within the college's Inclusive Learning department to provide learning support to students with varying needs
  • Assist students with literacy and numeracy needs
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
Requirements:
  • GCSE English and Maths C or above
  • Experience of supporting people in a care capacity or educational capacity
  • Experience in Animal Care, Agriculture, or Horticulture
  • DBS on the Update Service
