Job Opportunity:

This is an exciting chance for an experienced Mortgage Advisor to take on a leadership role and support the growth of our Mortgage Services team. As a Mortgage Services Development Manager, you will play a key part in developing the skills and knowledge of our team members, ensuring they have the tools and expertise needed to deliver exceptional customer service and drive business success.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and develop less experienced colleagues to achieve their full potential.
  • Provide supervisory support to the Mortgage Services Sales Manager, ensuring all aspects of T & C requirements are met.

Requirements:
  • Excellent knowledge of Financial Services core products, including Mortgages, Life Assurance, Critical Illness, Income Protection, and Buildings & Contents Insurance.
  • Knowledge of house purchase/move related secondary services, such as Conveyancing and Estate Agency operations.
  • Good technical and e-commerce knowledge to promote our services efficiently and effectively.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Financial Services compliance rules and regulations, specific to a mortgage & protection business.
  • Ability to work within a Training and Competence framework and understand the requirements of our Group T & C Scheme Skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong organisation and time management skills.
  • Aptitude to coach and motivate others to achieve business generation goals.
  • Ability to identify and analyse client needs effectively to deliver good customer outcomes.

Background and Experience:
  • Two years' experience in Financial Services, ideally with nine months as a Senior Mortgage Advisor.
  • Demonstrated consistent performance in business production and quality.
  • Awareness of latest products and market developments.
  • Relevant Professional qualifications, such as Certificate in Financial Planning or CeMAP.
