About the Role

The Dynamics Principal Consultant is a key member of KPMG's Microsoft Business Solutions team, responsible for delivering high-quality business and software solutions to clients using Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE. This role requires a deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities, as well as experience in leading enterprise implementation projects.

Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities.
  • Lead, organize, manage, and document workshops, meetings, and requirements sessions with client representatives, project stakeholders, and delivery teams.
  • Ownership for the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to clients using your deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities.
  • Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream.
  • Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigor and attention to detail as our client engagements.
  • Interface effectively with other members of the delivery team and the solution architect to ensure that the Power Platforms solution meets client requirements.
  • Strong contribution to the wider CE practice by defining training needs within the team and coaching or mentoring other team members.
  • Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
  • Deliver high-quality business and software solutions and services to clients ensuring the implementation of best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configuration/customizations.
  • The creation of high-quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation, including support for testing activities.
  • Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to KPMG project methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan: on time and on budget.
  • Contribute to Pre-Sales activities as required, including building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations.
  • Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills, and behavior.
  • Identify business/project risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
  • Advise client and delivery team members of scope (creep) and use of change control processes.
  • Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of project to client and more junior team members.
  • Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally.
  • Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry-specific solutions.
  • Leads people and helps to grow them in their role.
  • Performance management of two or more junior members of product team.
  • In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training.
  • Promotes the Values of our company.
  • Represent KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Qualifications and Essential Skills
  • Extensive experience as a CRM Consultant with largescale complex implementations, deep knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365, including appropriate certification.
  • Deep understanding of Azure and cloud technologies,.Net development, and PowerBI.
  • Deeper understanding of the broader Microsoft stack and be able to leverage it to create powerful solutions (PowerApps, Power BI, Data Verse, Azure, Office 365) and working in fast-paced Agile environments.
  • Ability to clearly articulate and present your ideas and solutions in line with the capabilities of Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Successfully translate business and customer needs into a great digital customer experience.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Dynamics Power Platforms Accelerators, industry templates, and add-ons.
  • Leading and mentoring junior team members.
  • Willingness to develop your knowledge of new functionality in the Microsoft platforms, keeping on top of roadmaps, studying for certifications to ensure we help deliver best solutions to our clients.
  • Knowledge of best practices for working with offshore teams.
  • Microsoft Dynamics CRM Certifications, ideally most current versions are desirable.
  • Preferably a University graduate with relevant degree within a computing or business discipline.

Experience and Background
  • Extensive experience as a CRM Principal Consultant leading enterprise implementation, deep and broad knowledge of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365.
  • Must be able to show good knowledge of practices for Dynamics 365Experience in a delivery-orientated IT environment using waterfall and agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 in a Lead Design Consulting role.
  • Deep understanding of software development lifecycle, development management, release management, data migrations, cut-over planning, and early live support.
  • Business process mapping, modeling, and documentation knowledge.
  • Experience of leading and leading others in Practice improvement initiatives.
  • Awareness of technical capabilities of Dynamics 365.
  • Minimum 10 plus years hands-on proven functional experience in Power Platforms configuration, standard customization, standard workflows, dashboards, flows, forms, views, and standard reports development.
  • Proven ability to develop a clear understanding of clients' needs and incorporate them into a solution.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of capabilities of D365 CE areas in the following modules: Sales Management Marketing Customer Service Management Understanding of additional CE Functional areas Field services Project services automation.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of capabilities of the supporting software in the Microsoft stack (certification is a positive), including: Azure SQL / SQL Server PowerApps, LogicApps, Flow, and Data Verse Visual Studio Team Service Devops.
