Our solutions are focused on advisory and implementation services that relate to the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 products, including CRM and ERP. Such systems are strategic IT solutions that integrate all management information across an entire organization into one single intuitive software application.

About the Role:

The Dynamics Principal Consultant is a core team member of KPMG customer delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 centered solutions. The Principal Functional Consultant should have extensive experience across all phases of enterprise Dynamics CE projects. A demonstrable history of consultancy experience is a must as this role will entail continuous interaction with clients, managing onshore consultants, working alongside both onshore and offshore development teams.

This role will also require a level of presales activities focused on Dynamics CE functionality, Power Platform, and the wider Microsoft platform. You will also contribute to proposal development and provide input in business development while leading and mentoring more junior staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using your knowledge of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities working closely with client teams and business stakeholders.
  • Lead, organize, manage, and document workshops, meetings, and requirements sessions with the client representatives, project stakeholders, and delivery team(s).
  • Ownership for the delivery of high-quality business and software solutions to our clients using their deep understanding of Dynamics 365 CE functional capabilities.
  • Ownership of gathering and documentation of functional requirements and complete gap/fit analysis for workstream.
  • Be responsible for ensuring our pre-sales engagements are delivered with the same rigour and attention to detail as our client engagements.
  • Interface effectively with other members of the delivery team and the solution Architect to ensure that the Power Platforms solution meets client's requirements.
  • Strong contribution to the wider CE practice by defining training needs within the team and coaching or mentoring other team members.
  • Identify business/project risk and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
  • Deliver high-quality business and software solutions and services to clients ensuring the implementation of best practices based on Microsoft Dynamics standards and supported configuration/customisations.
  • The creation of high-quality and sustainable client solutions and project documentation including support for testing activities.
  • Deliver all consultancy and configuration work according to KPMG project methodology, ensuring that all software applications are implemented successfully according to the project plan: on time and on budget.
  • Contribute to Pre-Sales activities as required including building demo and proof of concept solutions for various client presentations.
  • Delivery of end-user training to clients and colleagues where applicable.
  • Meet and exceed customer expectations of business knowledge, skills, and behaviour.
  • Identify business/project risks and mitigate or communicate as necessary.
  • Advise client and delivery team members of scope (creep) and use of change control processes.
  • Provide on-site support and assistance throughout delivery and go-live phases of project to client and more junior team members.
  • Communicate progress updates to relevant parties both formally and informally.
  • Support practice development activities such as defining and configuring industry-specific solutions.
  • Leads people and helps to grow them in their role.
  • Performance management of two or more junior members of product team.
  • In all activities, ensure timely completion of internal processes and mandatory training.
  • Promotes the Values of our company.
  • Represent KPMG Microsoft Business Solutions in a professional and positive manner at all times.
