About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sustainability Engagement and Administrative Coordinator to join our team at Imperial College London. As a key member of our central sustainability team, you will play a crucial role in coordinating events and activities to engage and inform staff, students, and external stakeholders on sustainability initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate events, workshops, and seminars to promote awareness of sustainability initiatives and encourage participation in delivering the broader sustainability strategy across Imperial's campuses.
  • Provide administrative support to organize the annual Sustainability Fortnight, including event setup, communication, and post-event follow-up.
  • Manage the Sustainability Champions Network, including regular communication, contact list maintenance, and event organization.
  • Produce web content, draft internal communications, create blog posts, and produce the monthly Sustainable Imperial newsletter.
  • Provide administrative support, including managing the Sustainable Imperial inbox, producing presentation materials, arranging travel, and catering for meetings.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in organizing events and managing logistics.
  • Proven ability to undertake administrative tasks, including meeting organization, purchasing, and travel arrangements.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Good communication and engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively with a range of stakeholders.
