About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at TGW Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing complex, multi-million pound projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to agreed specifications.

Main Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and implement project plans, ensuring adherence to project management, reporting, and financial controls processes.
  • Risk Management: Identify and manage commercial and technical risks associated with projects.
  • Health, Safety, and Wellbeing: Ensure policies and procedures are implemented on project sites to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Resource Management: Manage project resources and costs within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Project Completion and Handover: Ensure project completion, acceptance, and handover criteria are met in accordance with TGW's contractual obligations.
  • Change Management: Manage proposed changes to project scope, timescales, and budgets.
  • Quality Management: Define quality expectations and targets, ensuring project implementation objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Project Team Management: Establish the project team structure, resources, and roles and responsibilities.
  • Communication: Develop and implement a project meetings schedule and define lines of communication.
About You

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Experience: Proven experience of leading and managing projects and project teams.
  • Complexity: History of working on high complexity, high value projects.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to manage projects effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Language: English language written and spoken at business level.
  • Travel: Ability to work away from home across Europe and the UK, with flexibility to be on site full time at peak times in projects.
Desirable Qualifications
  • Project Management Qualifications: Formal Project Management qualifications and exposure to Prince 2, PMI, APM, or other formal project management methodologies.
  • Engineering Background: Degree qualified or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering.
  • Industry Experience: A background in engineering automation industry.
