About the Role
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill the position of Exercise and Rehabilitation Specialist. This exciting opportunity presents a chance to be part of a groundbreaking redesign of services aimed at supporting the rehabilitation of patients through a range of interventions.
Main Responsibilities
The successful candidate will work across multiple wards, collaborating with patients, nursing, and therapy teams to develop and implement personalized plans for activity that promote mobility, independence, and prevent deconditioning.
Key Skills and Qualifications
- Foundation degree in Exercise or Sports Science or equivalent level 5 qualification
- Substantial experience in health, sports science, exercise, or social care settings
- Effective communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
