Position Overview: We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our financial operations at Liberty Financial Services (LFS). This role is pivotal in shaping our financial strategy and driving growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all new sales agreements to ensure long-term profitability.
- Analyze financial metrics continuously to enhance profitability, identifying areas for cost reduction and risk management.
- Collaborate closely with the LFS leadership team to refine the commercial pricing strategy.
- Oversee the accounting, forecasting, and budgeting processes for the entire LFS management team, challenging expenditures and promoting efficiency.
- Present financial reports to the Group CFO, serving as the financial expert for LFS.
- Lead financial discussions in potential mergers and acquisitions, ensuring that investments are commercially viable and financially sound.
- Work with various functions, including M&A and Strategy, to ensure sustainable growth.
- Regularly review expenditures and guide purchasing decisions across departments.
- Identify and implement technologies to improve reporting and forecasting processes, utilizing new tools for real-time data analysis.
- Employ predictive analytics to drive growth, uncover operational opportunities, and mitigate risks.
- Foster a dynamic and entrepreneurial culture, encouraging innovation and challenging conventional practices.
- Instill a commercial mindset where cost implications and revenue opportunities are considered in all sales evaluations.
- Provide leadership and coaching to LFS management teams, promoting a proactive approach to maximizing opportunities.
- Develop and motivate key personnel by setting ambitious objectives and demonstrating effective leadership.
Qualifications:
- Experience in VP-level financial roles.
- Proven track record of implementing change and achieving cost efficiencies through technology.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate and visualize impacts consistent with the enterprise's strategy.
- Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Strong leadership skills, capable of managing cross-functional teams and influencing strategy across the organization.
- Ability to translate data analysis into actionable business insights.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end processes and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Proficient in establishing and managing KPIs and SLAs across shared services.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience engaging senior stakeholders.
- Project management expertise, adept at organizing and managing resources to achieve desired outcomes.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on deriving high-quality information from data.
- Understanding of governance structures, policies, and procedures relevant to the role.
