Class 1 Casual Driver Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Casual Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 1 Casual Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers, as well as collecting multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centres.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver goods to retail stores on curtain side and box trailers
  • Collect multiple containers from port for delivery to distribution centres
  • Keep in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and manage customer expectations
  • Attend regular training sessions

Essential Skills:

  • UK Class 1 (CE) Driving Licence
  • Current DCPC Card and Digital Tachograph Driver Card
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous
  • Passionate about providing excellent customer service
  • Working to deadlines
  • Confident, polite, and a team player
  • Good geographical knowledge
