Job Description

Within JCDecaux UK, the role of Digital Systems Analyst (DSYA) provides the company with desktop support for the digital estate of over 10,000 network-connected assets. The role is pivotal in supporting the rapidly growing number of digital players and other network devices, which generate 80% of the company's turnover, and sits within the Digital Systems team, part of the Service Delivery department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement base and player firmware upgrades to the digital player estate, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
  • Configure players for new installations with appropriate TAGs and configuration, guaranteeing accurate and efficient deployment.
  • Analyze issues and incidents logged to the Service Delivery ticket system, applying technical expertise to resolve complex problems.
  • Monitor primarily large format digital network equipment (e.g., video processors), identifying potential issues before they impact operations.
  • Highlight and escalate concerns regarding physical/network security to DSYTL for review and appraisal, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance.
  • Maintain documentation and asset tracking systems, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Excellent technical skills, with experience working with digital out-of-home technologies (KIS, Broadsign, OneLAN, etc.).
  • Proficiency in various operating systems (Linux and Windows variants), with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make measured appraisals of risk in different situations.
  • Fluency in English, with French desirable.
  • Highly motivated and project-oriented, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Adherence to health and safety guidelines when working on site, with a commitment to ongoing training and development.
Education and Certifications
  • Educated in a Business, IT, or engineering-related field or relevant industry experience with at least 4 years in a technology support function/role.
  • Working towards CMNO, CCNA, or equivalent certifications, demonstrating a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
