Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Staff Nurse to join our team at Ashurst Ward, a 11-bedded male psychiatric intensive care unit. As a key member of our Multi-Disciplinary Team, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality care to our patients.

Main Duties

As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in the implementation and evaluation of individual care plans
  • Supporting patients in engaging with their local community and reducing social isolation
  • Working collaboratively with the Multi-Disciplinary Team to deliver patient-centred care

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has a keen interest in new and upcoming technologies within Nursing and Healthcare
  • Is self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Has excellent communication skills and a compassionate, caring attitude
  • Is flexible and able to accommodate our 24/7 service

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate who:

  • Has experience of working at Band 5 level, or equivalent, in an acute setting
  • Has experience of working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Is RMN qualified and has knowledge of MHA 2007
