About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Nurse to join our team in the Emergency Department at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a Staff Nurse in this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, identifying and responding to changes in their condition
  • Check symptoms and vital signs, arranging diagnostic tests as necessary
  • Display excellent analytical ability and sound decision-making in changing clinical situations
  • Work as an effective team member, promoting team and interdisciplinary relationships

Person Specification

Essential

  • A minimum of 6 months paid experience in an A&E hospital environment within the last 3 years
  • All Registered Nurse roles will be required to provide evidence of Statement of NMC Registration and Degree/Diploma in Nursing
