About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Associate to join our team at MUFG. As a key member of our Client On-Boarding team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough and effective Customer Due Diligence, ensuring that all entities and structures are properly vetted and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Quality Control Assessments on entities and structures across all business lines, including new business, periodic reviews, and event-driven reviews.
  • Identify thematic issues within the on-boarding process and recommend appropriate actions to management.
  • Liaise with Quality Assurance and Financial Crime teams to ensure that all QC processes are effective and compliant.
  • Support the lead in developing and implementing training programs for new and existing team members.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert in AML on-boarding aspects and provide guidance to junior team members.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years' experience in Anti-Money Laundering, fraud, and bribery or Financial Crime roles.
  • Experience with Investment Banking and the on-boarding of corporate entities, including private companies and SPVs.
  • Strong knowledge of UK and European Anti-Money Laundering regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
