The Role
We are seeking an experienced I&M Engineer to join our team. As an I&M Engineer, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of our Inspection and Monitoring (I&M) works. This will involve providing technical expertise, quality control, and managerial support to our Project Managers. You will also manage our I&M team on site to ensure that I&M works are performed in accordance with applicable method statements and risk assessments, regulations, policies, and industry best practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise and quality control support to Project Managers
- Manage I&M team on site to ensure successful delivery of I&M works
- Work closely with Data Managers to ensure all instruments and sensors are properly connected and recording data
- Support the development and implementation of I&M methodologies and procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of I&M services
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. instrumentation, monitoring, geotechnical engineering)
- At least 3 years of experience in instrumentation and monitoring in a civil/construction industry
- Strong technical expertise in instrumentation and monitoring
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
