Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team at Local Care Direct, providing high-quality care to patients in West Yorkshire.

About the Role

The successful candidate will practice independently in various clinical environments, assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with primary and urgent care needs. They will also provide clinical mentorship and leadership to trainee and peer practitioners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with primary and urgent care needs
  • Provide clinical mentorship and leadership to trainee and peer practitioners
  • Work independently in various clinical environments
  • Participate in care of all age ranges and presenting conditions
Requirements
  • One of the following: NMC Registered General Nurse OR BSc in Paramedic Science / IHCD Paramedic qualification OR BSc in Physiotherapy OR MPharm AND Advanced Clinical Practitioner MSc/Post Grad Diploma in advanced clinical practice (minimum 1 year post Masters study)
  • Current registration with HCPC, NMC or GPhC
  • Experience of working in an autonomous practitioner role
  • Experience of managing minor illness
  • Experience of mentorship, leadership, and research in clinical practice
