Job Summary:

The Electronics Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Design Manager to lead our MEICA & Civil design projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a team of multidisciplinary design engineers to produce design outputs compliant with client specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a team of design engineers to deliver design outputs on time and within budget
• Develop and implement design strategies to meet client requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design alignment with business objectives
• Conduct site visits to gather information necessary for design development
• Ensure all design outputs comply with company QA procedures and client standards
• Review and approve technical reports, appraisals, designs, and drawings
• Chair design meetings and workshops to review progress and discuss issues
• Assist with procurement package management and support project managers and directors
• Stay up-to-date with technical and HSQE matters and be aware of policy developments
• Present technical data and project results to clients and colleagues

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering field or equivalent experience
• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the clean water industry
• Strong technical skills and knowledge of design software and tools
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment and meet deadlines
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
