Position Overview
We are seeking a Quality Inspector to enhance our manufacturing operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality of parts and assemblies through meticulous inspection processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct dimensional and visual inspections of components and assemblies utilizing various measuring tools.
  • Inspect parts from subcontractors involved in special processes.
  • Execute electronic transactions for part acceptance and rejection.
  • Collaborate with team members to address non-conformances and determine appropriate actions.
  • Document non-conformance reports accurately.
  • Manage non-conforming parts effectively.
  • Participate in investigations and initiatives aimed at departmental improvements.
  • Engage in Gauge R&R studies to ensure measurement accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in quality inspection.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a machine shop, production environment, or inspection department for special process suppliers.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and familiarity with GD&T symbols.
  • Proficient in various inspection techniques and measuring instruments.
  • Desirable experience with applications such as TIPQA and QPulse FAIR systems.
  • Knowledge of QMS systems and Microsoft applications is advantageous.
