We are seeking a dedicated Safety and Security Specialist to become a vital part of our organization. This position features a structured 54-hour work week with a 6 on, 3 off shift rotation, consisting of 12-hour shifts. Ideal candidates will possess excellent communication abilities, a customer-oriented mindset, and the capacity to work autonomously as well as collaboratively. Punctuality, dependability, and the willingness to cover shifts at various times are crucial. If you are committed and professional, we encourage you to consider this opportunity.
Primary Duties- Prevent and deter unauthorized entry to the premises
- Oversee fire alarms, intruder detection systems, and CCTV surveillance
- Perform security patrols as directed
- Manage equipment and maintain accurate records
- Process visitor/contractor passes and handle lost property
- SIA Licence required
- Access to a vehicle or reliable transportation
- Minimum of 1 year experience in security
- First aid certification (preferred)
- Must have a clear 6-year background history
- Ability to uphold core values and demonstrate sensitivity towards individuals with special needs
