Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Research Nurse to join our Pre-Assessment Department at a premier hospital in Harrow. As a Senior Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring consistent standards of patient care and promoting the well-being and interests of patients, employees, and consultants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure consistent standards of patient care in line with operational policies and procedures.
- Promote the well-being and interests of patients, employees, and consultants.
- Provide individualised patient care and uphold excellent care standards.
- Advocate for safeguarding patients and uphold professional conduct as per NMC and HCPC guidelines.
- Manage and coordinate patient care activities, including pre-assessment and post-operative care.
- Develop and implement patient care plans, in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care services.
Requirements:
- Registered general nurse level 1/Diploma/BSc in Nursing studies.
- Valid NMC Registration and evidence of relevant clinical professional development.
- Excellent clinical applied knowledge and basic workload/shift management skills.
- Proficiency in using a PC and relevant software.
