About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of technical expertise and commercial acumen. As a Senior Group Reporting Analyst, you will be responsible for leading the external financial reporting process and liaising with JLR's parent company corporate reporting team and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Lead on all financial reporting matters, including production of Group consolidated financial statements under IFRS for year-end and quarter-end, and production of parent company quarterly and annual reporting packs.
  • Commercial Knowledge: Use your commercial knowledge to understand and challenge results and disclosures.
  • Financial Disclosures: Lead on preparation of complex and high-profile financial disclosures, including cash flow statements, alternative performance measures, financial instruments, tax, and pensions.
  • Reporting Tools: Utilise financial reporting tools, including SAP and Oracle EPM, and automation to generate efficiencies in reporting processes and reviews.
  • Stakeholder Management: Be the primary point of contact for external auditors and parent company financial reporting team, managing deliverables and responding robustly to queries and challenges.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Be a qualified accountant.
  • Experience: Experienced in a financial reporting role within a large multi-national business.
  • Technical Expertise: Be an expert in IFRS and experienced in producing and reviewing complex financial statements under IFRS.
  • Communication Skills: Be articulate with great influencing and communication skills to build effective relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Improvement Mindset: Possess a willingness to challenge existing processes and proactively identify improvements.
