Salary Range: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE + Comprehensive Benefits
Our client, a well-established legal firm with over four decades of experience, is seeking a dedicated and skilled solicitor to enhance their property law team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a minimum of 1-year PQE, focusing on both Freehold and Leasehold Residential Transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee a personal caseload of Freehold and Leasehold Residential Transactions from initiation to finalization, including Transfers of Equity.
  • Experience with New Build transactions is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members within the department.
  • Collaborate closely with clients and external parties to foster and sustain strong professional relationships.
  • Exhibit professionalism and maintain effective communication with clients, colleagues, and team members.
  • Contribute to the department's business development and networking initiatives.
  • Uphold client confidentiality at all times.
  • Engage directly with clients, adhere to deadlines, and provide oversight to junior staff.
  • Demonstrate commercial awareness and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
  • Work in tandem with the firm's property team to cultivate relationships, secure ongoing work from existing clients, and develop new connections.

Qualifications:
  • Qualified solicitor or CILEX professional with a minimum of 1-year PQE.
  • Familiarity with Ochresoft Case Management System is a plus, though comprehensive training will be provided.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong time management abilities, with an understanding of deadlines and prioritization.
  • Capability to delegate tasks to junior staff clearly and effectively.
  • Solid grasp of business development principles.
  • Understanding of departmental financial metrics, including targets, billing, and WIP.
  • A minimum of two years of experience as a Conveyancing Solicitor is required.
