Norfolk Fire and Rescue Service is seeking a dedicated and hard-working individual to support the maintenance and delivery of critical firefighting and life safety equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that response crews have the necessary safety-critical equipment available to facilitate emergency response and protect the public.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the maintenance and delivery of critical firefighting and life safety equipment
- Use specialist knowledge, experience, and understanding of NFRS, manufacturer, and legislative guidance to make autonomous decisions about equipment
- Provide 24/7 standby cover out of normal working hours on a rota system
- Lone working
Requirements
- Pass an employment eligibility check and a standard level disclosure and barring service check
