Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Negligence Solicitor to join our team at MPJ Recruitment Ltd. As a specialist law firm, we have over 30 years of experience in Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, and we are looking for a solicitor with strong experience in handling Clinical Negligence cases at all stages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a caseload of Clinical Negligence cases from inception to trial
  • Provide support and guidance to junior team members
  • Proactively manage and progress cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution
  • Record time accurately and efficiently
  • Collaborate with the team to agree case tactics and strategies
  • Identify cases ready for litigation, settlement, or service
  • Coordinate case progression with internal and external parties
  • Draft legal documentation and negotiate settlements
  • Litigate claims as required
  • Oversee correspondence produced by the team

Requirements:

  • Recent experience of managing a caseload
  • NQ - 8 years + PQE or equivalent experience working in Clinical Negligence
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and drafting skills
  • Attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Proclaim
  • Excellent client care skills
