Transport Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Transport Manager to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Transport Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient movement of plant and building materials within the region and nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize routes and reduce costs.
  • Manage a team of drivers and transport staff to ensure compliance with company and legal guidelines.
  • Liaise with yard, workshop, operator, and fleet management departments to achieve depot targets.
  • Ensure all depots meet health and safety standards.
  • Purchase and sell company vehicles.

Requirements:

  • CPC qualification (essential)
  • Experience as a Transport Manager, Transport Supervisor, or Transport Team Leader
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work within compliance and health and safety guidelines

Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday working hours (8am-4pm or 9am-5pm)
