People Practice Development Training Manager

About the Role:
The People Practice Development Training Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing training programs and initiatives to enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of colleagues and managers. This role reports directly to the Manager, People Practice Development, and manages a team of five roles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert in reflective, psychologically informed, strengths-based, person-centered, resilience-building, and recovery-oriented practices.
- Ensure teams and individuals are skilled to meet service needs through effective training and development programs.
- Assess training needs, develop and implement training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness for continued improvement.
- Contribute to the development of Southdown's business plan through participation in the Southdown Planning Forum.
- Lead by example in upholding Southdown's values and fostering a psychologically informed environment.
