Investment Portfolio Specialist
At Vermelo RPO, we are pleased to present an opportunity for an Investment Portfolio Specialist to become a vital part of our underwriting team.

The primary objective of this role is to assist the Senior Underwriter in executing the established business strategy. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement.



Key Responsibilities:

- Assist the underwriting team in managing essential broker accounts and other significant business relationships to sustain and enhance profitable accounts while identifying product opportunities or challenges.

- Conduct market research through broker interactions, media analysis, and personal networks to stay informed on emerging issues and opportunities, providing insights to the Senior Underwriter.

- Foster broker relationships to align with the business strategy.

- Compile and present critical broker data to the Senior Underwriter at scheduled intervals and upon request.

- Investigate and address internal and external inquiries regarding policy matters.

- Promote collaboration with relevant internal departments.

- Actively advocate for the Group's brands.

- Represent the division in internal or external engagements as needed alongside the Senior Underwriter.



Skills/Experience:
- Exceptional attention to detail.

- Prior experience in the motor insurance sector.

- Proficient in data analysis, including the ability to present findings and recommend actions.

- Strong commercial awareness.

- Excellent communication abilities.

- Ability to work effectively in a team setting while also being self-motivated and proactive.

- Advanced knowledge of Excel functionalities.
