Currently, they are in a phase of remarkable growth, leading to substantial investments in their advanced clinical facilities in Central London. Consequently, they are seeking to enhance their clinical trials team by recruiting a Clinical Research Administrator.
This role presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading clinical research organization, collaborating with a team of skilled and motivated clinical professionals dedicated to advancing the testing of products related to infectious and respiratory diseases in drug discovery and development.
Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Research Administrator include:
- Providing reception and administrative support for incoming volunteers, ensuring a welcoming environment while maintaining a staffed reception area during operational hours.
- Coordinating updates for volunteers, ensuring that case notes and related documents are accurately tracked and filed in the appropriate volunteer records.
- Completing Case Report Forms (CRFs) and other required data points with precision.
- Addressing inquiries, managing filing, entering data into databases, and handling general correspondence efficiently.
- Ensuring compliance with ICH/GCP guidelines and best practices in accordance with internal policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and Study Protocols.
- Assisting in the daily management of the clinical area and reception duties.
To qualify for the Clinical Research Administrator position, candidates should possess the following skills and experience:
- A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant life science field such as Biology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Sports Science, Biomedical Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience in administration or documentation, ideally gained through previous employment or demonstrated through academic or volunteer activities.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- A solid understanding of UK healthcare practices, including ICH-GCP, is advantageous.
- Ability to listen, clarify, and identify solutions while agreeing on key actions.
- Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Word and Excel or equivalent software.
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team to ensure the efficient operation of the clinic and studies.
- Previous experience in a hospital environment, clinical research, or familiarity with Clinical Trials is a plus.
