About This Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Specialist Dietitian to join our dedicated team at Salisbury District Hospital. You will play a crucial role in providing expert dietetic care to patients with burns, plastics, and spinal injuries.

As part of our Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT), you will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Your responsibilities will encompass conducting thorough assessments, formulating accurate diagnoses, and developing effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with burns, plastics, and spinal injuries.
  • Develop individualized dietetic care plans based on patient needs and medical conditions.
  • Provide nutritional counseling and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate effectively with the MDT to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Supervise and mentor graduate dietetic posts and student dietitians.
