Job Title: Specialist Oncology Dietitian

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Oncology Dietitian to join our team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust. As a Specialist Oncology Dietitian, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dietetic care to patients with oncological conditions, working closely with the Macmillan Lead Dietitian and other multidisciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to advise patients at a sensitive time in their lives, and be able to integrate within various teams while remaining a strong advocate for nutrition. Applications are welcome from both experienced dietitians and those developing their expertise who have a particular interest in oncology.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. To work collaboratively with the Macmillan Lead Dietitian in the provision of a specialist dietetic service for oncology patients and their carers.
  2. To contribute towards the continual development of the oncology dietetic service.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registered
  • Suitable clinical experience
  • NHS experience
  • Student supervisory training
  • Completed PENG course
