We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team at Tudor Farmhouse Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in managing and leading a professional brigade and running the kitchen in their absence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Head Chef in overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operation, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
- Lead by example to ensure consistency and high standards throughout the team.
- Develop and implement effective kitchen management systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to all members of the team.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and implement new menu ideas and concepts.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Ability to work well under pressure and maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
