Swimming Instruction Assistant

Welcome to a rewarding opportunity at Places Leisure, where our mission is to empower individuals to lead active and fulfilling lifestyles. As a Swimming Instruction Assistant, you will be instrumental in guiding swimmers of all ages, fostering their skills and confidence in the aquatic environment. In collaboration with the lead Swimming Teacher, you will engage with small groups to provide dynamic and effective swimming lessons.

Role Overview:

  • Assist the Swimming Teacher in conducting swimming lessons
  • Engage with participants from infants to adults
  • Facilitate the enhancement of swimming abilities and self-assurance

Candidate Profile:

Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:

  • Experience in working with children
  • Strong teamwork capabilities
  • Prior experience in supporting swimming instruction or children's activities is advantageous
  • Possession of a Level 1 UKCC Swimming Teacher qualification, or equivalent
