We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Actemium, a leading international Electrical Services organization. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and pursue new project opportunities, developing and managing relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
- Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, support, and direction to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, including Network Rail Standards and associated deployment.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and taking corrective action as necessary.
- Ensure that all projects are delivered to the required quality standards, meeting or exceeding client expectations.
- Degree or HNC/HND qualified in Electrical engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- JIB Supervisor/Contractors status with equivalent technical discipline and experience.
- Personal Track Safety accreditation (PTS). Desirable.
- Experience in working within the UK rail environment.
- SMSTS accreditation.
- ECS Gold card or higher.
- Operational knowledge of NEC contracts.
- Experience in the design of low-voltage and data network installations in industrial environments.
- Experience in site surveys, resulting in modifications to existing equipment.
- Proven experience of working with and managing contracts within traditional construction projects.
- Understanding of commercial issues affecting project performance and experience in assessing value and evaluating variations of works undertaken.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously without compromising on standards and quality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts both orally and in written form.
- Calm professional manner, but able to take firm and timely decisions.
- Positive 'can-do' attitude, proactive in identifying and resolving management problems.
- Able to work extended and/or unsocial hours to the full requirements of the role.
- Ability to deliver projects to demanding deadlines.
- Ability to develop friendly and professional customer-focused relationships with others.
