**New Job Opportunity**

ULI has an exciting new job role to be at the forefront of our initiatives to decarbonize the real estate industry and increase housing affordability. The role will involve research and project management and sits in the ESG Programmes team. A key project is C Change, which is an annual programme to support ULI members and the industry to faster achieve sector-wide decarbonization of the built environment in Europe. Topics being covered include transition risk, carbon pricing, and owner-occupier alignment. There are plans to start work on new C Change workstreams covering housing and biodiversity.

**Key Responsibilities**

Research and Writing

  • Conduct research when carried out in-house, including desktop research, literature reviews, developing surveys and analyzing results, and preparing materials for research workshops and events.
  • Draft, collect feedback, and edit research projects when carried out in-house.
  • Collect and provide feedback and edit research projects carried out by consultants.
  • Draft, collect feedback, and edit articles for internal and external publications on ULI Europe's research programme and other topics of interest.

Project Management

  • Develop and execute project management plans for ESG Programmes work.
  • Manage and liaise with consultants when external organizations/freelancers are commissioned to carry out ULI projects.
  • Work with ULI members and staff to generate ideas for new research and programmes and involve them in existing research projects and programmes.
  • Pro-actively work with ULI's events teams for the pan-European and global rollout of new content.

**Requirements**

Approximately 5 years of previous work experience in an area relevant to the work of ULI.

Good working knowledge of sustainability, climate change, green buildings, real estate, local climate policy, and related topics.

Project management experience.

Strong writing, editing, and proof-reading skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple projects.

Fluent in written and spoken English.

Ability to travel abroad occasionally.
