Exciting Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a Design Manager to join our dynamic team based in the infrastructure sector.
Location: Hybrid working options available
Type of Contract: Permanent
Our company, Kier Group, focuses on delivering infrastructure projects that connect communities. In this role, you will play a key part in developing technically compliant and environmentally conscious solutions during the pre-construction phase, aligning with our client's objectives and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage technical approval, consents process, and governance for project delivery
- Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and promote health and safety in design
- Lead and supervise the design team to achieve project goals
- Oversee project budgets, forecast costs, and drive innovation in design
- Build trust with clients through timely communication and risk management
Requirements:
- Degree in engineering with CSCS accreditation preferred
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
- Understanding of design principles in the water industry
- Open to candidates with transferable skills
