Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expert health surveillance and safety critical medicals, as well as conducting wellbeing assessments and health promotion activities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Health Surveillance and Safety Critical Medicals: Conduct health surveillance and safety critical medicals for employees, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.
  2. Wellbeing Assessments: Conduct wellbeing assessments to identify potential health risks and provide recommendations for improvement.
  3. Health Promotion and Education: Develop and implement health promotion programs to educate employees on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
  4. Travel Health and Travel Assessments: Provide travel health advice and conduct travel assessments to ensure employees are fit to travel.
  5. Vaccinations: Administer vaccinations to employees as required.
  6. Drug and Alcohol Testing: Conduct drug and alcohol testing to ensure a safe working environment.
  7. Clinical Assessment: Provide clinical assessment of employees presenting with minor illness and injury.
Requirements
  1. NMC Registration: Must be a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  2. Occupational Health Experience: Must have previous experience in occupational health, including health surveillance.
  3. IT Literacy: Must have good IT literacy skills.
  4. Communication Skills: Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Time Management: Must be self-motivated with good time management and organizational skills.
  6. Teamwork: Must be able to work autonomously and as part of a wider team.
